MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — An online course focusing on how to integrate quality management systems into standard operating procedures and normal business activities is being held Oct. 30 – Dec. 1.
The GEAPS 530: Quality Management Systems for Bulk Materials Handling Operations course from the GEAPS/Kansas State University Distance Education Program introduces quality management systems as they are used in agricultural storage environments.
The course will teach attendees how to do a basic quality analysis of your operation and identify points where physical quality or economics are affected. It also will give the skills to create a food safety plan and develop a quality management system.
Registration for the course is currently open and closes Oct. 23.
This is one of six courses required for the Credential in Grain Operations Management. Three additional courses are available in October.
