BEILNGRIES, GERMANY — Bühler announced it has secured its first order for a drying plant in South America.
With cooperation between the Beilngries, Germany-based Bühler office and the local SAS Buenos Aires, Bühler will supply two corn dryers each with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per day.
The drying plant consists of:
• Two dryers STKX6Q-15/02 each with a capacity of 200 tph of corn.
• Air technology with a de-dusting system, including a bee wing separator to ensure that the plant complies with strict local environmental regulations concerning exhaust air.
• WAGO controls with “Ecomation” moisture control system to reduce energy consumption by 20% in comparison to competition.
• Heating system with direct gas line burner and a capacity of 16,000 kW.
The drying plant is scheduled to start operations in early 2019.
