MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — Learn the principles of managing the quality of value-added grains during post-harvest handling, drying and storage with the online GEAPS/K-State Distance Education Program course, GEAPS 520: Grain Quality Management.
The course is set for Sept. 11 – Oct. 13 and registration closes Sept. 5.
Besides the knowledge gained from completing this course, students can apply it toward an industry credential. GEAPS 520 is one of six courses required for the Credential in Grain Operations Management (CGOM) and the Credential in Grain Processing Management (CGPM).
This online course from the GEAPS/K-State Distance Education Program works to help attendees understand different methods of quality control and management systems. It also will cover grain-grading standards required to maintain quality and prevent potential problems.
