RAKE, IOWA, U.S. — Two were reported injured after a grain bin explosion at Landus Cooperative facility in Iowa on Aug. 19, according to KIMT 3 News.
The cause of the incident is not yet known.
Landus Cooperative released a statement to KIMT stating, “We very much appreciate the fire and rescue crews who responded yesterday and thank them for their quick response.”
According to Sosland Publishing Company’s 2018 Grain & Milling Annual the Landus Cooperative has a total of 65 grain storage facilities with a licensed storage capacity of 174.1 million bushels.
